The Thousand Islands Regency administration, police and Danramil 04 are ready to synergize succeeding Jakarta Bermasker Movement (let's wear masks).

Junaedi, Regent of Thousand Islands disclosed check points at major piers would be re-optimized to ensure disciplined wear of masks.

"We'll also intensify mask operation and mask distribution," he expressed, on the sidelines of Jakarta Bermasker Movement logo launching via zoom app, Wednesday (2/3).

According to him, monitoring of health protocols through check points was conducted as at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, which was by checking body temperature and COVID-19 negative certificates to visitors.

"We also continue to work together with caretakers of places of worship to ensure health protocols are implemented properly," he explained.

Thousand Islands Resort Police Chief AKBP Eko Wahyu Fredian added, it was done with the aim of inviting people to civilize themselves wearing masks in a bid to curb the spread of COVID-19.

"We want to suppress the case as minimal as possible," he stressed.

Thousand Islands District Military Commander (Danramil) 04 Mayor (Inf) Ali Anwar Faola added, to support it, his party was ready to work hand in hand with related elements.

"Let's protect ourselves, our families and other communities by wearing masks, masks must be a culture in the current pandemic. Not to be left behind, we need to continue to adopt a clean and healthy lifestyle," he stated.
